Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered another concussion during their 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night.
The game saw the Bills dominate early, with James Cook rushing for three first-half touchdowns and Ja’Marcus Ingram securing two interceptions. Buffalo’s defense held firm as the Dolphins struggled at Hard Rock Stadium.
However, the more alarming moment for Miami came when Tagovailoa was concussed late in the third quarter after being hit by Damar Hamlin. The 26-year-old assumed the ‘fencing position,’ a telltale sign of concussion. Tagovailoa, with a history of head injuries, was diagnosed shortly after leaving the field. In the 2022 season, he suffered three concussions, raising concerns about his long-term health.
Before his injury, Tagovailoa had completed 17 of 25 passes for 145 yards, including a touchdown to De’Von Achane, but also threw three interceptions.
James Cook’s stellar performance helped the Bills improve to 2-0, while the Dolphins dealt with yet another injury setback to their star quarterback.
